Stimuli
Stimuli for an experiment on the importance of hand parameters for recognition of sign language signs.
Four versions were made of twenty sign language sign movies.
Each version shows a different amount of handshape/hand orientation information.
The versions were created using automatic image processing techniques.
Condition 4 is the unmodified sign movie. Signers were asked if they could identify the sign.
If the movies give trouble playing, try downloading them with right-click.
